Made by a mother and daughter on their personal loom, this rug has so much character. As we were leaving the Atlas Mountains, the woman in whose lodge we were staying discreetly told us that she had some rugs she wanted to show us. We purchased two rugs from her; the most unique of the collection. This rug reflects her style and imagination, the bond between her and her daughter, and represents tradition being passed on.
When we asked her what the image was that she crafted so prominently, she could not tell us. We think for fear of judgment she did not want to say what it was in the event we thought it didn’t look like that thing. But we actually loved its abstract and distinctive design. There’s nothing else like it because it was born from her imagination. This works great to bring life to a small area or even as a creative addition to a child's room.
